2011 was a good year for concrete5. We remade our website, released 5.4.2 (including Composer) and then our biggest UI overhaul yet, 5.5 (which I will write more about soon). We also had a number of articles by us and about us appear in international publications. Here's a collection of those:
We enter the year with an appropriate introduction to concrete5 for those who don't really know what we're all about. A flattering read - with some pictures of the core team to boot.
I was fortunate enough to write an article for PHP Architect Magazine for their CMS issue. If you want an introduction to concrete5 written by me, check is out. Also if you're interested in a day of good PHP and PHP-related tutorials, check out Codeworks
We got another article in Web Designer Magazine, this time written by me. I took a look at how a designer can build a design-centric website that contains an eCommerce component without sacrifice design using concrete5 and the eCommerce add-on.
Thanks to Linux Pro Magazine for an interview about concrete5, in which I talk a bit about upcoming 5.5 and what a year it's been.
There's already an interview in the works for early 2012; with version 5.5 the sky's the limit.
